Daniel Rolling grew up in a traumatic household that left him with a world of resentment and anger. Soon after his wife divorced him, he lost his job at a local restaurant and that same night the murdering began. He would go on to murder a total of 8 people, his most notorious spree being at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He terrorized the town for days leaving behind a crime that would go on to be the muse for horror movies such as the cult classic, Scream.
