Erika shares the first true crime case she remembers, the unsolved disappearance of Natalee Holloway. In 2005, Natalee had just graduated high school and had a bright future ahead of her. She went on a trip to Aruba with her classmates and didn’t show up for the flight back to Alabama. The case became a media frenzy as the Holloway family and Aruban police are at odds, leaving mother Beth Twitty and father Dave Holloway to take matters into their own hands. Beth was certain the three boys last seen with Natalee knew what happened to her daughter, but over 15 years later no one has any knowledge of what happened to her. Except perhaps Joran Van Zandt.
