Steven and Cary Stayner

On this week’s episode, Erika brings us down the rabbit hole that is the Stayner Family past. Steven Stayner was just seven years old when he was abducted by predator Kenneth Parnell. Steven, manipulated into thinking he was Parnell’s son, was sexually abused and brainwashed for 7 years before escaping and saving another boy in the process. We learn about Steven’s life after his escape, and about the trauma experienced by another member of Steven’s family, his brother Cary. Unfortunately, Cary Stayner took a different path in response to his trauma
